Kintamani
The tourism potential of this area is the unique and amazing view of the mountain area. It is approximately 2 hours drive from Denpasar City, precisely in a place called Penelokan, which as the name suggests in Balinese means place to look around is the most strategic location for enjoying the natural scenery in this tourist area. Penelokan is located in Kedisan, one of the villages in the district. Kintamani. From Penelokan we can see amazing views. a combination of Mount Batur and its expanse of black rocks with Lake Batur which is shaped like a blue crescent moon in a caldera which tourists say is the most beautiful caldera in the world. Penelokan already has adequate infrastructure as a tourist attraction, including accommodation and restaurants. From Penelokan we have two alternatives to continue our journey to Kintamani. First we can continue north to Batur Village. In this village we can visit one of the heavenly temples in Bali called Pura Batur. This temple was originally located southwest of Mount Batur and was later moved along with the village residents moving to the top. The second alternative, we can go down to the center of Kedisan Village and then cross across the lake to an old village called Terunyan. In Terunyan Village we can see the ancient Balinese civilization called Bali Aga. In this village, people who have died are not buried but simply placed under a tree. These corpses did not give off any smell at all.
